Pakrut gold mine
Report summary
Pakrut is an underground operation utilising cut and fill open stoping mining methods. Initial planned capacity is 660kt/a increasing to 1.32Mt/a. Ore is processed through a gravity and flotation circuit, with cyanide leaching of both concentrates. Gold production is expected to average around 100koz/a over the first 10 years. Trial production commenced in October 2015 and first gold pour was achieved in December the same year.
