Report summary
Paracatu is conventional open pit mine utilising truck and shovel mining methods. There are two mineral processing plants (Plant I and Plant II). Plant I treats the softer B1 near-surface ore at a 20Mt/a design throughput, while Plant II treats the harder B2 ore at a design throughput of 41Mt/a. In 2024, the mine produced 529koz of gold.
