Red Lake is an underground gold operation in the Red Lake greenstone belt of north-western Ontario, Canada, about 535 km north-west of Thunder Bay. The operation comprises three historical mining centres, Red Lake, Campbell and Cochenour, which are interconnected underground. These feed two processing plants: the Campbell mill (800 ktpa) and the Red Lake mill (350 ktpa). Evolution Mining acquired the operation from Newmont in 2020 and holds a 100% interest as owner-operator. In 2021, Evolution acquired Battle North Gold Corporation to extend mine life through proximal deposits. The tenement package now covers 711 km².
