Report summary
The Sanbrado Gold project is located approximately 90km east southeast of the capital city Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. West African Resources owns a 90% majority stake in the project while the Government of Burkina Faso holds a 10% free-carried interest. First gold pour was achieved at Sanbrado in mid-March 2020. Sanbrado is anticipated to produce 153koz of gold per year at an all in sustaining cost (AISC) of US$663/oz Au over its planned ten year mine life.
