Sconi nickel project
Report summary
The Sconi Project is located in North Queensland, approximately 10km from the township of Greenvale. The project consists of a number of nickel-cobalt and scandium lateritic deposits. The three main deposits in the southern area of Sconi are Greenvale, Lucknow and Kokomo. Australian Mines released a bankable feasibility study (BFS) in November 2018 which estimated capital costs at US$974 million. The company is in the process of securing finance for the project's development.
