Sukhoi Log gold mine project
Report summary
Sukhoi Log is the largest undeveloped gold deposit in Russia, located in the Irkutsk Region, 140km to the northeast of Bodaybo town. Polyus' Verninskoye deposit is located 6km away from Sukhoi Log deposit. Development is planned as an open pit operation utilising conventional bulk open pit methods. The process plant is planned to be comprised of gravity concentration, flotation, followed by a carbon-in-leach circuit to recover gold. The PFS estimates that throughput capacity will be 33.2Mt/a.
