Tolukuma (Closed) gold mine
Report summary
The Tolukuma gold mine is a small underground operation, mining epithermal gold silver rich veins which average 0.2 - 2.0m wide. Average mill feed grades were around 6 - 9 g/t Au. The mine is 100% owned by Asidokona Mining Resources which acquired the closed operation from PNG state company Petromin in 2015. The mine is located 120 km north of Port Moresby within the Owen Stanley Range at an elevation of 1,550 metres.
