President Trump has decided to remove all the exemptions to the Section 232 tariffs on steel imports that his administration introduced in 2018. The move which is due to go into effect on March 12 will affect US imports of galvanized sheet and potentially see its exports hit by retaliatory tariffs that may be introduced in the coming weeks and months.
