Following depletion of the Uchaly open pit in 2007, ore is mined from four underground mines, namely, Uzel'ginsky, Uchaly, Talganskoye and Molodezhny. In 2008 pre-stripping at a new open pit mine, Zapadno-Ozerny commenced with ore production in 2010 and closed in 2011. Ore from the operating mines feeds the Uchaly concentrator. Uchaly produces separate copper and zinc concentrates. In 2018, the company reported production of 55.9kt of zinc in zinc concentrate and 48.6kt of copper in copper concentrate.
