Report summary
The Vares mine project is located near the town of Vares around 50km north of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The concession holds many small historical mine workings and prospects. This analysis is based on the 2025 Technical Report commissioned by DPM Metals to support their acquisition evaluation of the asset. The Technical Report builds on findings from the Definitive Feasibility Study released in 2021, as well as Scoping and Pre-Feasibility Studies completed in 2019 and 2020. A 15-year mine life expects to produce on average 39 kt/a, 25 kt/a, and three kt/a of contained zinc, lead and copper metal. The mine will also produce 4.1 million oz/a and 30,000 oz/a of contained silver and gold.
