Report summary
The property lies within the city boundaries of Yellowknife, NWT. The Giant Yellowknife mine is nearby and included in the accompanying analysis from 2000 onwards following acquisition by Miramar in December 1999. Power is supplied by the mine's own Bluefish hydroelectric facility (7.0MW) and the remainder from the NWT Power Corporation. The Bluefish power plant was sold to NWT in 2003 and includes a period to 2009 in which power is supplied free of charge.
