Report summary
The government offered a special approval of the hydropower Zhaotong Haixin project for the post-disaster reconstruction following the 6.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Ludian county in Zhaotong city. So the 700-ktpa project did not need to acquire replacement capacity quotas and then be emerged as one of the eight smelters of Yunnan Aluminium. Located in Yunnan province, the smelter uses low-emission hydropower.
