Oil Search is a full-time explorer, mainly onshore. During the last five years, Oil Search has added longevity to its core PNG business, exited the Middle East and North Africa fully, and entered Alaska. The company promptly enlarged its foothold in Alaska North Slope’s exciting Nanushuk play and made two large discoveries in 2020. Oil Search is merging with Santos, creating a regional champion of size and scale in Australia, with a combined market capitalisation of over US$16 billion.
