Upstream Licensing Round Quarterly: 11 rounds awarded in Q4 2019, but only seven rounds launched
Report summary
The Upstream Licensing Round Quarterly will keep you up to date on all licensing round activity. Updates are published in January, April, July and October. The high pace of licensing dropped off slightly in Q4, with just seven rounds launched. However, 11 round awards were announced, including the first licence award in the Dominican Republic. Over 40 rounds are ongoing, a number of which we expect to be announced imminently. 2020 has got off to a good start with the completion of four round awards so far in January. Two licence rounds have also been launched and over 20 rounds are expected to kick off the next six months.
