The Licensing Round Quarterly will keep you up to date on all licensing round activity. In this Insight we cover the small handful of rounds that closed; ongoing rounds; round launches, including a detailed look at the Malaysian and Egyptian rounds, and future round launches. We consider the potential reasons why the number of round launches is on a downward trend. We also take a look at what happened in the Nigerian marginal fields round, and what are the possible scenarios of the Biden administration's review of leasing in the US.
