Europe energy prices provides a comprehensive outlook for fuels, carbon and power prices in Europe to 2050. Brent peaks at $74/bbl in 2030 as demand tops 108.3 mb/d by 2032 before declining, with rising OPEC spare capacity pressuring prices. Gas surges 44% in 2024, stays high in 2025, then falls on new supply, averaging $7.6/mmbtu in the early 2030s before recovering to $10.8/mmbtu by 2050. Coal markets stay balanced but subdued as EU demand wanes. Carbon prices remain weak short-term yet supported long-term by policy. Power prices fall 14% by 2030 on decarbonisation and lower gas, but volatility rises as renewables expand and flexibility lags.
