On August 21, 2015 PJM published the much awaited results of the 2018/2019 PJM Base Residual Auction (BRA). While there was considerable uncertainty around this auction driven by a series of regulatory changes like Capacity Performance (CP) and demand curve redesign, the results were in line with Wood Mackenzie H1 2015 projections with surprises nevertheless. This short insight provides a high level summary and comparison of auction results to our forecast.
