The Southeast Asia region has the most rapidly growing power demand growth globally. In the next decade alone, the region will attract US$297 billion of investment for power generation assets. This report gives an overview of Southeast Asia power markets by providing capacity, generation, fuel demand and pricing outlooks. The report comes with a rich power market dataset covering six major Southeast Asian countries subdivided into 27 zones. The dataset is a synthesis of 8760-hour modeling between 2011-2050 undertaken by the Asia Pacific power and renewables team, with inputs from the broader Wood Mackenzie conventional fuels and commodities team. The report covers Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
