Report summary
Declining oil production has forced Petrotrin to announce the closure of Trinidad´s only refinery on October 1st, 2018. The company will focus on E&P activities and export domestic streams Galeota and Calypso. After the Point-a-Pierre´s ceases operations we expect Trinidad will export close to 70 kb/d of crude to the Americas and turn to the USGC as the main provider of fuels for the domestic market.
