Report summary
Wood Mackenzie's outlook for the fundamentals of the Canadian oil products market. Globally, the Covid 19 pandemic has brought forward the timeline for a looming structural oversupply of refining capacity. For Canada, demand for refined products will have fully recovered by 2022, yet utilization in Canadian refineries will remain on average 5% below 2019 levels through 2040 compared to H2 2019. This report contains our views on supply and demand of refined products (LPG, naphtha, gasoline, jet fuel, diesel/gasoil, and fuel oil).
