On 13 September, Wood Mackenzie held its China Cross-Commodity Forum 2018 in Beijing. As part of the event, Yujiao Lei, Consultant – Asia Pacific Cross-Commodity Analytics, and Sifang Liu, Senior Consultant – Metals, shared their views on ‘transport in transition’. A growing consumer base and the dynamics of consumer behaviour are reshaping mobility, in terms of both scale and structure. At the same time, rapidly changing EV economics and technological innovations are disrupting markets for many commodities around the world.
