Report summary
This update incorporates all of the regional crude runs and product-by-product supply-demand balances through to end-2026 on a regional level. Global crude processing averaged 81.7 million b/d in September, with utilisation rates coming in at 78.2% as the autumn maintenance period begins to ramp up. This month, crude runs came in under forecast by 670 kb/d as sharp declines in refining margins saw utilisation drop and higher-than-anticipated maintenance.
