Report summary
On 12 October 2015, the Canada-Newfoundland & Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board announced the 2015 Call for Bids results (NL15-01EN). Overall, 13 bids were submitted, nine companies participated and seven parcels were awarded in the NL15-01EN licencing round. More than Cdn$1.2 billion in work commitments were generated on seven of the eleven parcels on offer. The majors dominated activity with basin-leader Statoil the most active bidder.
