The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) was held in Houston from 6 to 9 May 2019. It is the world's largest offshore oil and gas conference. Some of the key topics discussed were advanced drilling rig and subsea technologies, project monetization through phased developments, challenges with deepwater project execution and next generation deepwater development concepts. We present our view of the key themes and implications for the US Gulf of Mexico Upstream sector.
