Before ceasing production in 2020, A/6-B/4 was the only commissioned field offshore Germany and is located in the extreme northwest of the German shelf. The westernmost arm of the German offshore sector, known as the Entenschnabel or 'Duck's bill', extends into the prolific Central Graben.A/6-B/4 production was exported via a 20-inch, 118-kilometre pipeline to the F/3-FB platform in the Dutch sector.
