The A/6 B/4 field is the only commercial gas discovery to have been made to date offshore Germany and is located in the extreme northwest of the German shelf.The westernmost arm of the German offshore sector known as the Entenschnabel or 'Duck's bill' extends into the prolific Central Graben.
