Australia-listed ADX Energy bought the mature Zistersdorf and Gaiselberg oil fields in 2019. They are both located in the Vienna basin and have produced since the 1930s.The fields underpinned Austrian oil output in the mid-20th century, but currently produce less than 300 b/d.
