Alaska Brookian discoveries getting better and better for ConocoPhillips
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
ConocoPhillips has revealed positive news on its Alaska development and exploration work. Resource estimates at the Brookian-aged Willow discovery have been increased and we have accordingly improved our valuation for the next possible westward expansion into Alaska's National Petroleum Reserve. Combined with success at West Willow and the Narwhal trend (including Stony Hill and Putu), discovered resource was revealed to be between 500 mmboe to 1.1 bnboe. This cements Alaska as one of the decade's exploration hotspots and a key part of ConocoPhillip's portfolio.
