Albania is a relatively small producer of oil and gas. In 2016, the country is expected to produce around 25,000 b/d of oil and 4.5 mmcfd of gas. The major fields in the country are those situated in the Ionian Zone and the overlying Pre-Adriatic Depression, to the northeast of Vlore.
