Report summary
The Ambrosio block is located in the northern part of Lake Maracaibo. It encompasses the Ambrosio and Urdaneta Este fields. Production is gathered via multiple wellhead platforms and delivered to PDVSA at its UD-2 flow station, located within the block. Most of Ambrosio's crude is light and is used as a diluent to help transport heavier crude from elsewhere in the lake.
