Report summary
The onshore Atora field was discovered by Elf Gabon in 1997. A development licence was carved out of the RGA exploration block, and first oil was produced in 2001. Crude is exported via the Gamba terminal, located 35 kilometres southeast.Production peaked at 20,000 b/d in 2003. Continuous drilling and water injection extended the plateau.
