Report summary
The Avalon field is located 50 kilometres west of the Forties field in the Central North Sea. It was discovered in 2014 by Summit E&P. The field will be developed with two wells tied-back to a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel. The Hummingbird Spirit was previously used at the Chestnut field.
