Bacchus
Report summary
The Bacchus field is located in the Central North Sea, seven kilometres northeast of the Forties field. In 2006, the field was initially assessed as sub-commercial, but subsequent re-mapping and a revised geocellular modelling of the area led to an upgrade of the oil in place in early 2009. Development approval followed in mid-2010. The oil field has been developed via three subsea horizontal wells.
