Report summary
After a two-year hiatus, we were back in Indonesia to reconnect with our contacts. Highlights included preparations for the G20 summit to be held in Bali and multiple Covid-19 swab tests. We spoke with industry leaders about: exploration bouncing back with some high-impact wells lined up, the outlook for gas and LNG production, decarbonisation ambitions and carbon capture policy, and finally- a smaller corporate landscape where remaining IOCs can call the shots.
