The Bandurria area is directly north of Loma Campana, the most advanced shale project in Argentina. The larger Bandurria block was split into three in 2015, with Pan American Energy taking full ownership of Bandurria Centro. It sits in the black and light oil windows of the Vaca Muerta. The operator conducted a pilot programme that ended in July 2019.
