Report summary
The Barnacle field lies in the UK northern North Sea in Blocks 211/29 and 211/30, 5 kilometres southwest of the Statfjord B platform.The field was developed with a single extended reach well drilled from an existing donor well on the Statfjord B platform, located on the Norwegian side of the North Sea. It was brought onstream in December 2019.Oil from Statfjord B is offshore loaded via buoys into tankers for export.
