Block 17 is a deepwater block in the Lower Congo Basin around 130 kilometres offshore Angola. Total has developed the Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea and Violeta fields, known collectively as CLOV, as a fourth production hub in Block 17. The other hubs in Block 17 are Girassol/Jasmim, Rosa, Dalia/Camelia, and Pazflor (see separate analyses). The CLOV fields use a floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO).
