Asset Report
Blocks 3 and 4
Report summary
Blocks 3 and 4 are two contiguous blocks located in central eastern Oman, with the main production centre at Saiwan East located 300 kilometres south of the capital Muscat. The blocks produce light, high quality oil and were a major production growth success story over the last decade. However, production has been declining since 2020 with most recent activity focused on limiting and offsetting the decline. The first discovery was Farha South, which remains the largest and most productive field. There are currently six producing fields plus two discoveries under a long terms production test.
