Bressay
Report summary
The Bressay heavy oil field lies in the Northern North Sea, 50 kilometres northeast of Mariner. The field was discovered in 1976 but due to the heavy nature of the field's oil a commercial development has yet to be sanctioned. The field has an estimated 900 mmbbl of Stock Tank Oil Initially In Place (STOIIP). EnQuest took over operatorship when it acquired a stake in the asset in July 2020.
