Bumerangue is an ultra-deepwater pre-salt oil and gas discovery located in the Santos Basin. In August 2025, BP announced the discovery following the drilling of the 1-BP-13-SPS exploration well, located in a water depth of 2,372 metres and situated 404km offshore the coast of Rio de Janeiro.
