Report summary
Wood Mackenzie held its third breakfast briefing in Cairo on 24th June 2019. The forum drew 60 attendees from oil and gas companies, the service sector, financial institutions, EGAS, EGPC and the Ministry. During the forum, we asked the audience to complete a questionnaire on key issues impacting the upstream oil and gas sector in Egypt. Questions covered the audience’s views on oil prices, Egyptian gas exports, Cypriot discoveries, capital investment in Egypt's upstream sector and forthcoming exploration in the Red Sea. This report reviews the results of the survey and how they compare with Wood Mackenzie's own forecasts.
