Report summary

Casabe is one of Ecopetrol's legacy assets. Located close to the Barrancabermeja refinery, Casabe was the first field in Colombia where secondary recovery techniques were applied.The asset is very mature and was subjected to an extensive EOR programme in the 1970s/1980s. However, Ecopetrol in conjunction with Schlumberger executed a re-development plan for this field.
