On 29 January, CNOOC and partners Total and Euroil announced the Glengorm discovery in the UK Central North Sea. The field is close to the Gannet field, but also less than 50 kilometres from Total's existing infrastructure at Elgin/Franklin. Glengorm is estimated to contain 250 mmboe of gas and condensate. This inform looks at a possible development scenario and provides an indicative valuation of the discovery.
