Coelacanth (EW834)
Report summary
Coelacanth is an oil and gas field located in the Ewing Bank protraction area of the Central Gulf of Mexico. Discovered in 2012 by Walter Oil & Gas, it is the most recent significant discovery in the Gulf of Mexico Shelf. First oil was achieved in 2016 and the field currently produces from eight wells.
