The Danish government has agreed to provide some tax incentives in return for further investment in the Danish North Sea. A separate agreement for a full Tyra infrastructure re-development has been signed with the Danish Underground Consortium, led my Maersk Oil. Together with a new, improved policy on third-party infrastructure access, the government hopes this will increase attractiveness of new discoveries and promote development of small oil fields. The agreements must be approved by the Danish parliament before coming into force.
