Report summary
The Echira, Moukouti and Niungo fields are grouped within Perenco's south onshore Gabon management area. Echira was discovered in 1984 by Shell, and first oil was achieved in 1992. Crude is exported via the Gamba terminal. In 1987, Shell discovered Moukouti during a multi-well exploration campaign. Moukouti remained undeveloped until Perenco brought the field onstream in 1998.Shell discovered Niungo in 1988, 15 kilometres southeast of Rabi. A development licence was awarded in 1990, ...
