Report summary
As H1 2019 draws to a close it's time to look ahead at what to expect for the remainder of the year. The first half of the year saw operators take advantage of low service pricing, skewing their activity and spending to H1 2019. At the same time producers are making operational strides, drilling core areas with extended laterals and outperforming production expectations. As a result we've revised our forecast for tight oil production upward. Some of these themes will persist in H2 2019 but a new course of discussion will emerge. We've reached out to some of our regional experts to see what they are watching for in the second half of the year.
