The small Nong Yao oil field lies in the shallow waters of the Gulf of Thailand. FID was taken in August 2013 and the field came onstream in June 2015. Nong Yao's initial recoverable reserves are estimated to 13 million barrels. The field has been developed with two platforms tied-back to a leased FSO via a CALM buoy. The processing platform can handle up to 15,000 b/d of oil and has water disposal facilities.
