Gas Plus-operated fields

Report summary

Gas Plus operates over 50 onshore fields in Italy. The fields are located in the Northern and Southern Apennines, Tyrrhenian Sea and Po basins.Most fields are now mature. Gas production peaked in the mid-1960s. Mezzocolle, Spilamberto and Torrente Baganza, located in northern Italy, currently account for the majority of gas production. Oil production peaked in the early 1980s and has been in decline since. Crude is processed at regional refineries in Italy and gas is marketed domestically.
