Noyabrskneftegaz is Gazpromneft's second largest subsidiary, operating fields which lie in the mature Yamal-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi regions in West Siberia.Oil production peaked at around 820,000 b/d in the late 1980s. Production fell rapidly following the collapse of the Soviet Union but recovered in 2004 to a secondary peak of 620,000 b/d due to extensive development efforts.
