The Grane Oil Pipeline runs 220 kilometres from the Grane platform to the Sture terminal, where crude oil is stored in caverns and offloaded into oil tankers for export. It became operational in September 2003 which coincided with production start-up at the Grane oil field.There are several other developments which also utilise the pipeline for export:The Svalin development started exporting oil via the pipeline in 2014.
